Students will learn to use the body's natural reaction to stress to build a defensive shooting platform, perform emergency reloads, draw from concealment and aim accurately through kinesthetic alignment instead of using iron sights.

Building on Defensive Shooting skills, students should feel comfortable with skills such as emergency reloads, holster draws and visualizing the threat . New skills will include: clearing common handgun malfunctions, concepts of "cover" and "concealment", getting of the X" and addressing multiple assailants

Certified Instructors
All of our instructors maintain USCCA certification for each of the disciplines taught. Every instructor is an experienced Range Safety Officer and is bonded and insured. Additionally, our instructors have a wide variety of backgrounds with expertise in defensive shooting fundamentals, medical emergencies and first aid, and historic firearms and function.
A Unique Perspective
Overwatch Armaments President Wm. Craig Penglase, Esquire has spent the last two decades as a criminal trial litigator. Mr. Penglase has both prosecuted and defended individuals who have used a firearm during violent encounters. It is with this background that Mr. Penglase educates his students in the classroom and on the range.
We Teach to the Level of the Student
We provide instruction to students with ALL levels of experience. Overwatch Armaments regularly trains individuals who have absolutely no firearms experience. We also instruct citizens who carry concealed firearms regularly, armed professionals, government agencies and law enforcement officers.
